While a lot of TTRPGs are designed to work for a broad range of stories and campaign arcs, there are others that are very narrowly focused. When you play Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons, or Fabula Ultima, all you can say for sure is that your game is going to have a fantasy tone to it. When you play Whispering Vault, you are playing Whispering Vault. Rebels of the Outlaw Wastes is going to be the story of a band of plucky rebels in a post-apocalyptic world fighting against the Powers That Be. This makes some of these games a lot harder to advertise for… but damn, can they sometimes be among the best experiences you’ll have, since the rules are all fine-tuned to get exactly that experience out of the game! So I’ve listed these games as sort of a creature of their own, and I’m willing to run any of these at fairly short notice!
