BEYOND DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS

Hey here, I’m Jason. Based out of Wisconsin, I’ve been running games since the mid-90’s, starting out with the last printing of Basic D&D, and working my way on up through dozens of game systems over the years. Back when the pandemic hit, I started GMing games online professionally! Since then, I’ve run several campaigns through to completion, and had many others where scheduling was the only reason that they came apart. Unfortunately, I have so many different games I can run that it’s kind of hard to run down the list.

Thus, the site! I’m listing all the different games that I have, could, or can run, along with various campaign ideas that can run in a few different systems. Feel free to look through the campaign lists below, and to use the contact forms to get hold of me if you’re interested in any of them! Or, if you’re just interested in a specific system, or even just thinking “I want to find a game, any game, help!”, I can help you with that too.

When you do contact me, please include your name, email, and which game it is that you’re interested in. Any preferred time slots would help too, along with the time zone. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can from there!

  • What’s the Idea?

I run games for people. It isn’t a full time job or anything, but I do have people who think it’s worth paying to take part in the games I run. The problem is, the resource that I use to promote those games is… fairly rigid. I need to have specific time slots lined up,…

  • Death Must Die

There are a couple variants on this campaign, and I have planned out material to run it using Pathfinder 2 and Daggerheart. I could also run it using a number of other systems, such as Warhammer Fantasy, Fabula Ultima (or Fabula Obscura, when it comes out), etc. It would fit very nicely with Shadow of…

  • Queen’s Age

Inspired by power metal, JRPGs, and certain DC Comics, this is a high fantasy game that’s ready to run in Fabula Ultima, and nearly ready to run through Daggerheart, Pathfinder, or any other fantasy system. Concept: For centuries, the Elf Queen has ruled over the land, guiding it despite elaborate plots against her reign, attempts…

  • The Story of Us

Inspired by JRPGs, gnosticism, and neo-Platonic philosophy, The Story of Us is a fantasy campaign based around the nature of reality, and what happens when somebody tries to take over the narrative. I have run this campaign in Fabula Ultima previously, and could do so using Daggerheart, Pathfinder, or really practically any game, since it’s…

  • The B-Team

This superheroic game is one that I have run before, and completed the primary storyline! It’s a plot that involves mind control, memory manipulation, and existential weirdness, so not necessarily for everybody… but if you’re interested in a superheroic story where you get to determine how complicated the morality of things is actually going to…

  • Narrow-Focus Titles

While a lot of TTRPGs are designed to work for a broad range of stories and campaign arcs, there are others that are very narrowly focused. When you play Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons, or Fabula Ultima, all you can say for sure is that your game is going to have a fantasy tone to it.…

  • Published Adventure Paths

One of the lovely things about Paizo and the Pathfinder game is that there is a vast library of campaigns and adventure paths available, all of them open to a little tweaking here and there… and almost all of them ones that I’m willing to run, though sometimes there’s more adaptation involved than I’m going…
